Ladder, Yes Please!

I bought an old white quilt ladder MANY years ago at an antique mall.  I dry brush painted (if that makes sense) it brown when I first brought it home and hung it on a wall that did not get much attention.  I decided to give it a more prominent place in our new house.  I asked Dan to hang it above our kitchen island and I am going to place large baskets on top of it.  Today I found an old egg basket and an old harvest basket to start my collection.   I knew someday I would have a kitchen island again and I just knew my ladder would be perfect for it.  I wasn't sure what I was going to "hang" from it, but I saw the basket idea on Pinterest and knew that was the look I wanted.  I love it!
