I love having photos throughout the entire house. Every single time I walk by the pictures, I remember the exact time, place, the exact moment that picture was taken. It warms my heart. We have a wall outside of the playroom that was just begging for a fun photo collage. I have been unpacking boxes and putting all of my frames aside. I also found a few very sweet and cheap signs at Sam Moon (yes they have home stuff). The kids are at school today, so I did a little spray painting (the mats of the frames) and then I was able to spread all of the frames and signs out to "design" my wall. I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out. It is a perfect entrance to the playroom!

L Times Three
Live, Laugh, Love...easy motto to live your life by huh?
I decided to do this little project in our master bedroom. I found the three Pottery Barn frames in a garage sale pile (from my sister-in-law). I bought the metal signs from Hobby Lobby for $7.99 each (just wait for the metal sale and they are 1/2 off, so only $4.00 each). They were brownish/black, so I spray painted them. I use spray paint a lot in my house...it is such a cheap, fantastic way to tie things together with the same color. You could use any frames and spray paint them the color(s) you want.
So below is my version - I did not come up with this idea at all...I just made it right for us!

MOVING
We are sending a change of address card to our friends and family. I decided to include a picture of my sweet, yet VERY busy helpers! It is NOT very expensive to do this (for 100 cards it cost about $25), and what a fun picture to have forever.

Why Oh Why???
I decided that I wanted to make a blog about the things I create, the decorating I do, the fun projects my family (hubs and I) take on...why oh why you ask? Not exactly sure, but part of the reason might be that we just bought a great house in Haslet, Texas (just outside of Fort. Worth) and I am currently not working...so my primary jobs are to take care of our two little monsters (and I mean that in a lovingly way) and unpack boxes...organize and DECORATE! I thought a blog would be a fabulous way to keep track of our progress...but we shall see...
This is our house the week our offer was accepted. It is approximately 4100 square feet sitting on 1/2 acre...now that might answer the why Haslet, TX question. We got a fantastic "deal" on our house...which I am just determined to make our home!
